As all of us knows, a model is a representation in scale of an object, space or something real or not. As architect and urban planners we can see al the time many models, but more specific, reduction models. Reduction because we represent big spaces and edifications in a smaller scale than the real to work. An other kind of model is the extension model. In this the model maker try to represent a very small object like micro-organism or microscopic things in a bigger scale to show more details about it. A model can represent all kind of things in different scales. We can see models about cars, airplanes, countries, houses, planets. Every thing can be represented in a model. For us is very important to do a good model because this have to produce in a different scale than the real the same feeling like the real space. For this reason exist many companies with professional model makers that works only in this area, doing models. If you can see my e-zine is about the models.
